Cal Clear gives one person a booking link that checks all of their calendars. Cal Clear for Teams keeps that, and adds the three things a group needs: one bill with a flat price, two simple roles, and booking links that keep working when the person who made them leaves. Here's how it works, what it costs, and what it doesn't do.
The plans
| Plan | Team size | Price | Per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team | 2–10 people | $10/month, flat | as low as $1/month with 10 members |
| Business | 11–50 people | $25/month, flat | as low as $0.50/month with 50 members |
| Enterprise | 50+ people | Talk to us | hello@calclear.app |
Both paid team plans start with a 30-day free trial with no credit card. Every member gets Pro features, which means unlimited booking links each, on top of what's free for everyone: unlimited calendars checked for conflicts, spam protection, and booking pages with no third-party trackers.
One bill, and a price that doesn't move with headcount
The price is per team, not per seat. A team of three and a team of nine both pay $10 a month, so adding a person is a conversation about the work, not about the budget. The plan's seat limit is the only ceiling: the Team plan holds 10 people and the Business plan holds 50. If an admin tries to invite an eleventh person on the Team plan, Cal Clear asks them to upgrade first.
Admins switch between plans from the team page. Moving back down only works when the team fits in the smaller plan, so a 14-person team can't drop to a 10-seat plan by accident.
If someone on your team was already paying for Pro on their own, joining the team cancels that individual subscription. They don't pay twice.
Two roles: Admin and Member
There are only two roles, on purpose.
- Admins invite and remove people, promote or demote other members, reset the invite link, choose the plan, and pay.
- Members manage their own booking links, calendars and bookings, and can leave the team whenever they like.
Whoever creates the team is its first admin. A team always keeps at least one: the last admin can't be demoted and can't leave until they promote someone else, or delete the team. That rule exists so there is always someone who can pay the bill and receive a departing teammate's links.
Inviting people
You can create a team when you sign up, or later from an existing account. Then invite people one of two ways:
- By email. Cal Clear sends the invite, and only the Google account with that email address can accept it.
- By a shareable link. Paste it into your team chat. Anyone with the link can join while there are seats left. If it ends up somewhere it shouldn't, an admin resets it and the old link stops working.
Two rules worth knowing before you invite anyone: one Cal Clear account belongs to one team, and a team account can't be turned back into an individual one.
Booking links that survive turnover
This is the part that matters most once a team has been around a while. People share booking links in email signatures, proposals and website buttons, and those links outlive jobs. A link tied to a departed person's account can break, or keep booking meetings into a calendar nobody watches.
On Cal Clear, when someone leaves or is removed, their booking links and upcoming bookings move to an admin, and the old URLs keep working. The links are pointed at the admin's default calendar and flagged so the admin confirms the calendar. Then the departing person's account and personal data are deleted and Cal Clear's access to their Google account is revoked. The full walkthrough is in what happens to booking links when someone leaves the team.
If the trial ends or the subscription lapses
Admins get an email seven days and one day before the trial ends. If the trial ends unpaid, or the subscription later lapses, the team is paused. A single failed payment doesn't pause it straight away; there's a grace period first. Once a team is paused:
- Booking pages stop taking bookings.
- Members can't manage their links or bookings until an admin pays.
- Admins can still open the team page to pay, and paying restores everything.
A pause doesn't delete anyone's links or bookings.
What stays the same
Teams don't change how Cal Clear handles calendars. Each person connects their own Google calendars, and Cal Clear reads only free/busy times from them. It never reads event titles, descriptions or attendees. Booking pages carry zero third-party trackers, booking data auto-deletes on the schedule you set. reCAPTCHA spam protection is on by default for new links and is the only outside script on booking pages; you can switch it off per link. More on that in privacy-first scheduling.
What Teams doesn't do
Every person on a team has their own booking links that check their own calendars. Cal Clear doesn't have shared team booking pages, round-robin routing between teammates, or collective events that need several people free at once. If those are central to how your team books meetings, a heavier tool will suit you better. If what you need is everyone's own clean booking link, one bill, and no dead links when people move on, that's what this is.
