On a per-seat scheduling plan, every hire is also a pricing decision. For a team of two to ten people that adds up quickly, and many small teams mainly need each person's own booking link. Here's how the numbers work, what a small team really needs, and where a flat price fits.
How per-seat pricing adds up
Per-seat plans look cheap on the pricing page because they show the price of one person. Multiply by your team and by twelve months. Using prices from the vendors' pricing pages, checked October 6, 2026:
- Calendly Standard at $10 per seat per month (billed yearly) is $600 a year for five people and $1,200 for ten.
- Calendly Teams at $16 per seat per month (billed yearly) is $960 a year for five and $1,920 for ten.
- Cal.com Teams at $12 per user per month (billed yearly) is $720 a year for five and $1,440 for ten.
And the bill moves every time the team does. Hire a contractor for a quarter and you either pay for another seat or leave them without a link.
What a flat price looks like

The honest comparison: do you need a team plan at all?
Cal Clear's free plan gives every person one booking link and checks unlimited calendars. If everyone on your team needs just one link, each of you can use Cal Clear free, separately, and pay nothing.
If people need more links, individual Pro is $0.99 a month per person, so ten people on Pro would pay $9.90 between them, about the same as the Team plan. The difference isn't the price. What the Team plan adds is:
- One bill, paid by an admin, instead of ten small subscriptions on ten personal cards.
- Admin and Member roles, so someone can invite and remove people.

What a team of 2–10 actually needs from scheduling
- Each person's real availability. People have a work calendar, a personal calendar, maybe a client's calendar. Cal Clear checks every connected Google calendar for conflicts, reading only free/busy times, never event titles.
- Their own links. A 30-minute intro, a 60-minute working session, a short call. Every team member gets unlimited booking links.
- Nothing creepy on the booking page. Your clients book through pages with zero third-party trackers, and booking data auto-deletes on the schedule you choose.
- No spam bookings. reCAPTCHA spam protection is on by default for new links and is the only outside script on booking pages; you can switch it off per link.
- Simple admin. Invite by email or a shareable link, two roles, one bill.
What Cal Clear doesn't do: shared team booking pages, round-robin routing between teammates, or collective events. Each person books their own meetings.
Part-timers, contractors and people who come and go
Small teams change shape often: a contractor for a quarter, an intern for the summer, a co-founder who steps back. On a per-seat plan each of those is a billing change. On a flat plan they only use one of the ten seats while they're there.
When they leave, an admin removes them. Their booking links and upcoming bookings move to that admin, the old URLs keep working, and their Cal Clear account and personal data are deleted. Nobody has to chase down a link someone shared with a client months ago.
When you grow past ten
An admin can switch the team to the Business plan: $25 a month flat for 11 to 50 people, as low as $0.50 per person with 50 members. Setting it up
- Sign in with Google and create a team. You're the admin.
- Invite your teammates by email, or share the team's invite link.
- Each person connects their calendars and creates their booking links.
- Before the 30-day trial ends, an admin adds payment. Admins get a reminder seven days and one day before.
One thing to know first: joining a team turns an account into a team account, and that can't be undone. One account belongs to one team.
