What works today
Cal Clear connects to Google Calendar for real-time free/busy conflict checking, so you're never double-booked across your Google calendars. Every confirmed booking also sends confirmation, reschedule, and cancellation emails with an .ics (iCalendar) attachment — and that .ics adds the event to any calendar app, including Proton Calendar, in one tap. The automatic Google Meet link comes through too.

A native, two-way Proton Calendar connection — reading your Proton Calendar busy times for conflict checking and writing events directly into it — is planned but not built. We won't claim it works until it does.
What you can do today
You don't have to wait to get Cal Clear bookings into Proton Calendar. Because every booking email carries a standard .ics file, you or your invitee can add any booking to Proton Calendar instantly — the event, time, and Google Meet link all come through. For conflict checking, keep your bookable availability on Google Calendar for now; once native Proton Calendar sync ships, you'll be able to check against Proton Calendar directly.
Why we build slowly and say so honestly
Cal Clear is privacy-first and free forever. We'd rather ship a small number of integrations that genuinely work than list a directory of connections that don't. When Proton Calendar lands, it'll do exactly what this page describes — and until then, we won't pretend otherwise.
