Cal Clear integrates with Google Meet (Video Conferencing) to auto-generate a google meet link for every confirmed booking. attached to the calendar invite. Here's the setup walkthrough, common use cases, and the known limitations.
What the integration does
Auto-generate a Google Meet link for every confirmed booking. Attached to the calendar invite.
Setup
Enabled by default when you connect Google Calendar. Every booking includes a Meet link in the invite.
Support status
Yes — native, free tier.
Limitations and gotchas
Requires at least one connected Google account with Meet enabled. Google Workspace accounts get unlimited meetings; personal accounts have 60-minute limits on 3+ person calls (a Google restriction, not Cal Clear's).
Common workflows
Cal Clear + Google Meet is most useful when you want booking events to trigger something in Google Meet automatically — either a notification, a record creation, or a downstream workflow. Webhooks and Zapier support are coming soon to Pro. Once they're available, a webhook will suit simple notifications (Slack message on booking), and Zapier or Make will suit multi-step workflows (booking → CRM contact → email sequence).
When you don't need this integration
If Cal Clear's built-in confirmation emails and calendar invites cover your use case, you don't need to build anything in Google Meet. Most solo professionals run Cal Clear standalone for months before adding an integration; don't over-engineer.
